Divorce was the best thing for Jana Kramer. But that doesn’t mean it was the easiest.

On her Instagram feed Monday she shared some pics of a very personal moment — the day she learned her divorce from Mike Caussin was real. Considering the split was something she fought hard against until she was forced to face his cheating wasn’t going to end, it’s understandable she was broken a little bit by the news.

What didn’t help is that it came while she was trying to stay in the zone filming her upcoming movie The Holiday Fix-Up, which airs this Saturday on Lifetime. She wrote:

“This one was one of the hardest behind the scenes days. The call. Happened July 22nd. I got the official call that I was divorced. 20 minutes before my pick up to set.”

Oof, that’s a tough one. Working with a broken heart is bad enough, but when you have a job where you can’t betray any emotions but the ones being asked of you? Nearly impossible! She continued:

“I knew the day was coming but no one truly prepares you for how it hits you when you are told you are officially divorced. My dream of what I wanted for kids and family was officially shattered in this moment. But I also had a job to do. I had to work and be on set moments later. I took this photo to remind myself WE CAN DO HARD THINGS.”

Thankfully her co-stars, including Maria Menounos and Ryan McPartlin, helped out — and later joined her on her Whine Down podcast on Monday to talk about the tough behind-the-scenes drama! She finished:

“I also was embraced with so much love that night on set which is why the holiday fix up crew truly became family. We talked about this day on this weeks podcast and I’m joined by @mariamenounos and @ryanmcpartlin to recall the good days and the hard days that we all go through. And of course some funny behind the scenes moments.”

Maria sent her support yet again, commenting:

“You handled it all with grace friend!”

While Ryan added helpfully:

“You were such a pro!!! Glad we could offer up some laughs in the eye of the storm. Can’t wait for everyone to see your performance on Saturday!”

Are they serious with this?!

If you’ve been following Josh Duggar‘s child porn trial, you know prosecutors put on a hell of a case in the past week. Not only did Department of Justice tech experts walk the jury through how the offending videos were acquired and hidden on the 19 Kids and Counting star’s work computer, they also showed how he was the only person who logically could have put them there. And they did it in a way even we understood it! We mean, it was Josh’s computer, his cell phone data places him there at the time… heck, it was the same password to get to the secret porn stash as was on the official Duggar Instagram account — Josh’s birthday!

Following that, you had the soul-crushing testimony of a family friend who learned about Josh molesting her daughters, touching their “private areas” when he was 14. One of those girls was just four years old.

It’s been a brief but harrowing trial to cover, but it’s seemed like a slam dunk case for the prosecution to us. Nevertheless, Josh’s defense made a motion to acquit on Monday following the prosecution resting! If the motion had passed, that would mean Josh would be free to go without the jury ever weighing in!

Josh is facing one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. Attorney Justin Gelfand argued the prosecution had “insufficient evidence of known possession” and “insufficient evidence of actually knowing receipt by Mr. Duggar of child pornography.” Um… see above?

Assistant US Attorney Carly Marshall said in response to the motion:

“I believe that evidence sufficient to go to the jury has been heard.”

Not surprisingly, Judge Timothy L. Brooks agreed with the prosecution, easily denying the motion. In fact, he went so far as to say he found there was “well more than sufficient evidence” and that there was “a plethora of evidence here to suggest a reasonable jury from which they could find there was possession.”

Sounds like the judge was hearing the same evidence we were. It’s unclear what else the defense will try, if they’ll call any more Duggars to the stand — there are a couple on the witness list. But if this is all they’ve got, the jury could get to deliberation by midweek — and we’d bet that’s bad news for Josh.

A high school teacher in Michigan has been suspended after reportedly explaining to his students how the Oxford High School shooter could have killed even more people.

The teacher, who has not been publicly named, was suspended after allegedly making the disturbing remarks to a class of students at Hopkins High School in Hopkins, Michigan, at some point within the last week.

Of course, we have been following the tragic story coming out of Oakland County, Michigan, where — on the final day of November last week — 15-year-old sophomore Ethan Crumbley allegedly opened fire with a 9-millimeter Sig Sauer semi-automatic handgun in a crowded hallway at Oxford High School.

The shooting resulted in the deaths of four innocent students, and eight other teenagers were seriously wounded. Crumbley has since been charged with murder, assaults, and weapons charges, as well as one count of terrorism causing death. In a shocking but welcome development, his mother and father have both also been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter each after reportedly buying the gun used in the attack for their son as an early “Christmas present” on Black Friday of the previous week.

Now, the fallout continues in an unexpected way after a teacher in the city of Hopkins reportedly went way too far with students in attempting to talk about the situation. Allegedly acting on a directive to discuss the tragedy with a class, the teacher reportedly explained that, were he the shooter, he would have created a distraction in order to cause more deaths.

Sorry, but… are you really going to give the kids tips on how to be a better school shooter? How is that helpful in the slightest??

A concerned Hopkins High School parent explained the disturbing situation to Newsweek, saying:

“[The teacher said] he would’ve pulled a smoke detector, so that he could create a distraction, in order to carry out his hit list and kill the people that he would need to.”

Holy s**t… He even got specific.

Understandably disgusted, the Hopkins HS parent continued with their thoughts about the teacher’s alleged actions:

“It was gut-wrenching devastation that a grown adult would mentally harm our children this way. Zero tolerance, zero tolerance. Absolutely not should he be back in school or teaching anywhere, ever.”

Yeah, hard to argue with that.

Hopkins High School principal Ken Szczepanski confirmed with the outlet that the teacher in question was suspended from teaching after the alleged discussion came to light.

Szczepanski informed the media that school continued as usual in the days after the teacher’s suspension, and added:

“This is a contained situation.”

We can only hope so.

Still, that same Newsweek report published late Friday revealed that an almost unbelievable 519 (!) schools nationwide across dozens of different states closed at various points last week due to credible threats of violence following the Oxford HS shooting. With such a volatile climate in mind, this teacher told kids how to kill better??

Marilyn Manson reportedly threatened the families of the women who accused him of sexual assault — including children — according to new court documents unearthed this week.

Most disturbingly among an incredibly dark and horrific set of allegations, the rocker allegedly threatened ex-girlfriend Evan Rachel Wood‘s 8-year-old son, Jack, with the troubled musician supposedly claiming he would harm the child.

The revelation has come forth in new docs first published on Monday by DailyMail.com, the provenance of which comes from Wood’s prior custody battle over Jack against ex-partner Jamie Bell. In the declaration, which occurred in court back in March, the Westworld star alleged that Manson told her he would “f**k” Jack in one horrifically twisted part of a bid to “ruin [her] life.”

In the declaration, Wood asserted:

“I took [Manson’s] threat seriously, then and now. I am looking into attack dogs and security guards at night.”

Whoa.

Quickly after learning of the alleged threat, the 34-year-old mother installed bulletproof glass windows, a steel security door, and a tall security fence around her Los Angeles home, according to her claims in the official brief.

Speaking about the threat in relation to all the other allegations against the 52-year-old rocker, whose El Lay-area home was raided by law enforcement investigators last week, Wood added:

“I only recently learned that [Manson] was involved in human trafficking and the sexual exploitation of minors on a large scale. These new developments, combined with the pending criminal investigation, lead me to be very concerned about our child’s safety when in Los Angeles.”

Referring to Manson as “the alleged offender” in the papers brought before a judge in the custody agreement case, Wood continued:

“I am extremely afraid of the alleged offender. I have suffered severe, traumatic physical and emotional injury at his hands, and I am afraid he will seek retribution against me for testifying by harming me, our son, and members of my family. In my experience, the alleged offender is very retaliatory and has always made it clear that he will ruin my life.”

Jeez…

According to Wood, she found out about the horrific threat after one of Manson’s other alleged victims recorded the rock star explaining that he had pictures of her children going to the mailbox, along with access to their social security numbers.

Manson allegedly said to the unidentified woman:

“I’ve got everything, they’re f**ked, and they’re going to be f**king destroyed. I know where they live, where their f**king kids go to school, where they work, their parents.”

Sickening.

Along with that, Wood claims, she was deluged with death threats from Manson’s fans and followers in the months after first making allegations against the musician back in February. She went on:

“I cannot stress enough that it is not just the alleged offender, as one person, who presents a risk to our safety. It is the combination of the alleged offender and his network of fanatics, who, like him, are also extreme Satanists, pedophiles and Nazis. The alleged offender’s network of followers helped him kidnap, abuse, and ritualistically torture people which included binding, whipping, cutting, rape and forcing people to drink blood.”

Wood explained her fear in the context of wanting to move from LA to Nashville, in order to keep Jack away from Manson. For his part, Bell argued that Wood’s claim was a bid to keep the boy from him — hence the custody battle itself.

For his part, it sounds like the English-born Bell was not ready to go along with Wood’s accusations. In his own declaration filed with the court, the 35-year-old actor responded:

“Evan’s story defies credibility. I frankly do not understand what is happening. Either Evan’s claims that she is receiving ‘death threats’ are true and Jack is not safe in her care, or they are not true and she is withholding our son from me for other reasons of her own invention.”

And the Billy Elliott star went on from there:

“As an actor myself, I am no stranger to threats, and many people I know who are public figures have had to take security precautions. I have received no indication from Evan that she has even a security guard in place.”

For her part, Wood acknowledges that she understands why Bell is frustrated with the custody battle over Jack.

But still, she won’t budge when it comes to safety and security following her allegations against Manson:

“I am frustrated with Jamie for not understanding the impact the criminal investigation has on our safety. … [Manson] presents an imminent risk of harm to me and the people I love, including our son. This risk is heightened if Jack and I are physically in the Los Angeles/Hollywood area where the alleged offender and his circle of extreme Satanists reside.”

So scary.

As Wood continues to film episodes of Westworld and travels between LA and Nashville to do so, it appears as though the custody dispute here may continue for some time.

Let’s just hope Jack can be truly safe and secure at all times.
