There is no doubt that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are a match made in heaven and that is the case in good and bad times, as it should! That being said, the pregnant singer revealed that her actor fiancé is the only one in her life who is able to handle her when life gets dark for her.
This is what Katy Perry revealed while a guest on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show yesterday, telling the host all about her upcoming album but also her personal life!
Just like most people, Katy Perry deals with good and bad days, some of them way too depressing for her to deal with them alone.
Thankfully, she has Orlando Bloom by her side and he is apparently great at making her feel much better.
About her new album, Katy Perry dished that: ‘To be honest, this record is full of hopefulness and of resilience and joy because it was made during a very dark time when I was actually clinically depressed because I had a change in my career. The last record [Witness, back in 2017] did not necessarily meet all my expectations, but it got me out of the loop of being a very desperate, thirsty pop star who felt like they had to be number 1 all of the time. Now I feel like I can actually create and be more multi dimensional as an artist but also as a human being.’
About that dark time in her life, the singer said she chose to show her finance all of it in its rawest form, and thankfully, he was up for the challenge; hence he chose to stay with her!
‘I still test him, he still shows up, he still is not fazed by it. And that is why he is perfect for me,’ she added.
